The guy is garbage...His fighters keep losing...He lost another one last night when #1 contender Sechew Powell was TKO'd by some nobody....Chambers lost to Povetkin....Gatti got destroyed....Malignaggi looks like crap lately....Adamek got schooled by Dawson....Brewster got destroyed by Wlad....Tarver got embarrased by Hopkins....Am I missing any others??

"Gatti got destroyed" should not be in your post. McGirt deserves a massive amount of credit for resurrecting Arturo's career and prolonging it for as long as he did. He "got destroyed" because he was spent and fighting guys way to good/big for him.

Trainers dont fight.

Trainers are supposed to help fighters win...make gameplans....make adjustments....give instuctions.

All I hear from Buddy McGirt is....."use the jab baby"....."use the jab baby"...."you gotta punch baby"...."you need to box beautiful baby".

Im not sticking up for Buddy because I dont really care for him, but when I hear him talk in the corner he is mainly saying the right things, besides being a trainer is much more than that so to judge him based on what you see for 45 seconds in between rounds says maybe you never been around boxing beyond a message board, didnt say that to sound harsh. Still with that said Ive heard a boxer say before Buddy just smokes cigars during training and says a few words.

I remember during the bhop fight he wasn't telling Tarver ****!! it was funny, 11th and 12th rounds he wasn't trying to motivate him at all. Maybe he just wanted Tarver to survive, but even I as a bhop fan was thinking to myself "wtf is this guy doing! no urgency whatsoever"

I've been arund boxing for a long time, been to gyms in Eastern Europe, been to sparring sessions for Klitschko's,Tsypko,,Kotelnik, etc....I;m not a trainer....But I know ****ty trainer when I see one and Buddy McGirt is mediocre and overrated.
