1)joe is not knocking down pavlik never mind knocking him out.
2) pavlik may knock down joe but if he does it will be a knock down not a knock out, joe has an irion chin and he knows it, its because of this thathe takes too many chances and gets sloppy with punches, balance and footwork. the only times that joe has been down its been because of poor balance, iv only seen joe been hurt once by b-hop with a counter right which was in the 8th rnd or something like that. joe hs been with other big punchers like eubank, lacey, and kessler pavlik's power is not something special.
3) pavlik doesn't bring anything to the table that joe hasn't seen before, if anything pavlik is a taller, fitter but less strong version of kessler. people go on and on about pavlik's power but its more cumulative rather than one punch KO. pavlikd doesn't hit harder than kessler or even a prime lacey.
personally i can see joe winning a comfortable desion and the fight following a simlar pattern as to the kessler fight: joe blasts through the first/second rnds, then finds the next couple of rnds hard before finally adapting and picking up a comfortable points victory.

I think the person that would beat Calzaghe is...
Chad Dawson.. But like someone said, they don't even mention his name.. He's not that popular, but he would definately win..
Roy Jones - Has a chance, but he doesn't take enough risks.. I expect a flash KD tho if they fought.. I think JC would win on activity
Kelly Pavlik - I see this being another JC vs Lacy all over again man.. Pavlik has a punch, but I think hell be overwhelmed.. Hey, I HOPE I'm wrote.. I would LOVE to see JC lose tho..Comment

I'd give him a better chance than Roy Jones. But there won't be any stoppage in this fight. Just don't think it can happen. Most likely outcome would be a comfortable decision, Calzaghe. Next likely would be Calzaghe by TKO in 11 or 12. Next, would be Pavlik by upset split decision, with an immediate rematch following.Comment
