Gona get asked anyhow so might aswell get in there, source is..clue?

RJJ is a bloody bugger if he's fannying about with financial demands again. He's done it before, and said the onus if on him to chase the top guy, accept conditions i.e location and pay that suite the top guy, not him. So for him to be making demands is such a shame, and sorry it rhymes lame.

Calzaghe's gotten a lot more finanicially greedy lately but he's not made as much as Roy and would settle a deal, compromise more I feel, but 50/50 I'm not sure. Joes the top guy so no way does RJJ deserve 50/50, sorry, just no.

Pavlik's a slightly tougher and much riskier fight in my eyes. His reach and power like Kessler, coupled with his awkward flat footing and countering hard shots when Joe would come in would make it tough.

Yeah will depend on how will pavlik carries the power up in weight, I think it will carry, but also slow him down and although his skills are under-rated in my opinion he is not the fastest and will probably find it hard to catch joe clean. Pavlik is one of the few fighters that can match his workrate but not joe's speed and craft. If calzaghe is near his best he will take this one in a war.

As well as jones pricing himself out of it, I think the pavlik fight has always excited calzaghe more. If he was to come through the pavlik fight, he could fight jones after that also, it is possible...especially considering it would be a UK fight and huge money and probably not a massively taxing fight physically

Well Roy's arguement is he is the name in the fight and the one likely to sell the fight in the states.

Quoting didn't work in first bit of ya post hehe.

Good point. He is a bigger name in the US but so what, guys contradicting himself, he said the top guy of the division should get the money and choices pretty much, guy pisses me off. How can he expect to be taken seriously as chasing and wanting a chance when he's so unwilling to compromise on the basis he is not even top 5 in the division now, but won't accept it.

Would prefer Pavlik first mainly as Calzaghes on the slope down, whilst Pavliks on the up, so less risky this year, more so next year. Then RJJ as a finisher, lovely. Guess it could be a blessing in discuise.

Would be brilliant, think the pavlik win would shut most people up on this forum and definitely agree it should come first, joe has plenty of money now and it would mean more in terms of legacy imo. Not saying pavlik wouldn't be a big money fight either

Calzaghe would win by a UD, but it will be a FANTASTIC fight for sure

Calzaghe wins by UD....but it'll be the hardest UD anyone will ever earn

I dont see Pavlik as a hard fight. He is a smaller, less skilled version of Kessler
