It's really hard to say. Marg has never faced someone as good as Cotto and Cotto has never faced someone as ferocious as Marg.

On top of that Margarito has never fought on this stage, he's never faced a guy this smart and versatile offensively. It's very possible he looks lost behind Cotto's jab and quick inside work until he lands something significant.

one think i wish promoters would concentrate more is on the overall production of the fight. making some room in the budget for a little fireworks and minor theatrics wouldnt hurt and would enhance the atmosphere of the main event.

I think he will be cautious. I don't think he can afford to go to war with Margarito. Why would he anyway? To live up to the billing of a tough fighter? It's unnecessary, for the simple fact that he's much faster than Antonio and can just pick and choose when to counter attack.

C'monmang needs to turn on the TV and get his boxing info up. Both Cotto and Margarito are in the toughest fights of their lives so far. Cotto is in deeper with Margarito than he was with Mosley because Margarito seems very hungry. Margarito is the kind of fighter that needs to be on to be effective because anything less than an inspired performance will be a nightmare for him. His style is aggression and if he isn't aggressive and tries to sit back and pick his spots, he be best to not even show up for this fight.

As for Margarito, this is his toughest fight to date also. Cotto is red hot right now and has a lot of confidence from beating guys like Mosley and Cintron and more or less playing with Gomez. It's Margarito's job to take away the jab by going over the top with the right hand ala Morales and force Cotto to adjust. If he does that, he can control the fight.
