I saw this a MILE away!! lol..I almost did a thread about him being with Roger but I didn't do it. I knew that once he dumped his trainer, he would want to be trained by Roger. E****ally since that story came out last week about how he met and trained with the Mayweathers....Roger can take his game to the next level..IMO, good move for Khan

How good is Roger Mayweather as a trainer, really?
I don't mean to belittle his accomplishments, but I think just about any trainer would be successful with Floyd. PBF runs alone, is self motivated, and is a smart fighter.
Floyd pitched a shutout on Baldomir while Roger was in prison. Roger sometimes gives Floyd advice in the corner, but the vast majority of the time, it's "keep doing what you're doing".
Two exceptions are the Judah fight : "Don't worry, stay to the plan", and the Hatton fight: "you don't have to move away from that MF, you are hurting him inside".
And Roger told PBF to use the pull counter in the Ndou fight.

Roger gave Floyd his offensive game. Floyd Sr. would be a lot more defensive when he was training Floyd. Roger tought him the offense, and then Floyd himself learned how to balance it.

Sr. should be the guy he starts with. Defense 1st! This may be the 1st big signing to Mayweather Promotions!

When exactly did Roger take over in the corner from FMS?

He helped co train his amateur career I think, but during the pros during the begining part and then midway through his championship reign at 130.
Justin Juuko is a fight you can tell Floyd Sr. really taught him because Mayweather was just so defensive that fight.
