What somebody's fetishes or pleasures outside of the ring don't interest me in most cases. He could be spending his money buying millions of pounds of chocolate to fill a lake to swim in... which would be pretty ****ing sweet, but wouldn't change my views on him as a fighter.

Exactly. People care way too much about the private lives of fighters. Oscar has given us some great fights, I dont give a **** about what he does in his personal life. Anyone that does care has issues.

If they weren't real then why did Oscar threaten legal action against the site that uploaded them, and why did he also seek to file a "cease and desist" action against the stripper in question?

If they weren't real I would've just laughed that **** off and played it off for the joke it really was, not started seeking legal action for having the photos removed. That was admittance of guilt right there.

There's FAR worse things that many fighters, who have many fans, have done than get drunk and dress like women.

Oscar's been accused of doing worse things, and settled out-of-court.

IF I was a big Oscar fan, settling out of court on a **** allegation would make it much harder to root for him than dressing like a woman.

Extortion only occurs when a person either unlawfully obtains money, property or services from a person, without that person's consent. I agree the stripper may have stolen the pictures, but why file suit with charges if there was no credibility behind it? Defamation? Defamation is the same as slander or libel, it's simply the act of making a false claim I.E.-a lie. I wouldn't caaste valuable time and effort on something as meager as a lie.

with a wife like his (who seems to be very happy) and oscar's credibility in the past i'd have to say they are fake to some extent...

maybe that IS him in the pics (in boxers or whatever) and the rest was photoshoped on (ie. the fishnets) or maybe the whole pic is fake.

i dont know for sure but it doesnt seem to fight oscar's personality or character.

if they were real or suspected to be real i think it would be much more of a big deal than it is.
