How does ESPN normally deal with situations like this...will they just cut to the fight live after this game is over (with like the first 3 rds already completed)?

Boxing gets no respect. They won't even temporarily use ESPNews if the program preceding FNF gets extended. It's worse during the US Open ATP series when tennis matches go very long.
