      it's a joke, lol.

      pie...
      pumpkin pie.

calling a pizza a "pie" is more common in NY, but it's a northeast phenomenon for sure.

the real pizza is bbq chicken and bacon. there is hopefully no such thing as pumkin pizza. man that would be nasty
Oh well that went over my head, I feel dumb now. I lived in Jersey 5 years so its been a while since I've heard anyone call it pie.

        that's my only guess.
Don't they do this every time there's a big PPV in Vegas? Like Mayweather or Pacquiao. I know I remember them doing this before.

Not teaching him the basic fundamentals of boxing. Good Lord. Ricardo Mayorga is Floyd Mayweather with a mix of Pernell Whitaker compared to Kim.

I go to a gym here in South Korea and his lack of defense is not surprising. The gym I go to there is an old fighter whose eyes look in different directions. He was showing me the basics and he had me position my hands about a foot in front of my face. This essentially left me defenseless against any kind of attack. He was adamant that I "defend" myself this way, and made baby sounds when I tried to keep my hands up.

This seems to be the norm for Korean fighters, how many Korean technicians have you seen in the ring? They put more emphasis on guts and heart.

I always assumed that it was non-existent amateur career and just learning on the fly

And that's why we'll never see any great Korean fighters unless they have Ali's chin, and Foreman's power.
