if one guy lands 10 haymakers that rock his opponent but his opponent lands 11 light jabs the guy that landed the jabs wins the round. I AM PIERRE BENOIST.

Did you miss Dzin getting beat up in the other 9 rounds?

Dzin jabs landed, but in no way were they effective. He landed a jab or 2 going back wards and then took a bomb or 2 in return. This is not effective "boxing". Isnt "Boxing" all about making them miss while hitting them?

Did you see Vera's face? That left eye looked horrible

It was pretty clear who was landing more blows and who was landing the more telling blows, you shouldn't need punch stats to tell you that. They weren't the same guy~

The guy who landed the better blows won and should have been ahead by a point or two when it was stopped.

That's where scoring gets tricky: when one guy is landing more punches, but the other guy is landing a somewhat lower number of more effective shots. It's also tough when one fighter is a headhunter and the other prefers going to the body.

And I completely agree with the bold.

I wasn't writing down my scores. I remember giving Dzin 2,3 and 9, at least.

If an equal number of punches are landed in the same round and one guy lands the harder shots, he should certainly be awarded the round; but you clearly have a bias towards light punchers with good footwork.

I wasnt scoring either but i think i gave Dzin only 3, 4 and 9.

My "bias" is that fancy footwork does not win fights, effective punching does. If your game is a light puncher who only jabs, you cant win fights when the other guy is landing bombs on you all night. Good footwork is not even part of scoring, yet people seem to give fighters rounds for "good footwork"

Those were the numbers in one particular round (what I referenced in my post). Based on what they were doing up until round 7, based on your figures, Dzinz had landed 28% of his punches while Vera had landed 24%.

You said that the only round that Dzinz outlanded Vera was the 9th...the stats disagree as early as the 7th...............just saying.

Yea the round you reference was the 9th, Dzin's only good round which he clearly won

& Are you going by percentages as to who won rounds, i dont get it? Vera landed more punches thru 7 rounds, and they were power punches not pitty patty jabs

That is the thing about scoring, it isn't that black and white anyone that takes it as such is missing the ball. There is always some variance between how people will score, even highly trained judges will not score exactly the same it is just impossible.

Like if you put 100 people in separate rooms and make them score fights watching as close as possible, no matter the fight people will have vastly different scores and some people will always have each guy winning no matter how wide some think it is.

Also like I said I don't really score fights anymore because I find it dumb and ruins talking fights for me, because I enjoyed this fight and now I am kind of irritated.

Yea it was messed up by a jab. They showed the slo mo when the jab messed it up

Means nothing
