Dzin is and always was a decent at best fighter
I just noticed a dramatic decline after that Martinez fight...whether it was the loss or not, he declined after that fight.

For all of Vera's deficiencies, he has Rios-type determination. That kind of fighter remains dangerous until the final bell. Dzinziruk doesn't belong at MW, isn't great defensively and isn't built to go toe-to-toe. Dzinzi looked like Bute as he retreated to the ropes, very bad habit against a pressure fighter.Last edited by kiaba360; 01-25-2013, 11:25 PM.

What Brian had going for him is that when he landed, he did damage. Power counts, but landing punches does also. It has to be balanced. You obviously place very high value on a good shot.
Ok i agree with you landing punches counts too, and Vera landed more, probably way more
Vera landed more shots and the better shots, what more do you need to win a fight?
