True, but you don`t have to put up with it.Why wave a flag around and make your country look good when their treating your people badly.

I look at it as it should be an eye for an eye.
i dig that i'm still waiting for a change, but i still love being black

I would much rather be a 36 year old coming in to this fight than a 43 year old... I don't see your point. In that case Mayweather beat Hatton and he's been known for hand problems. So what's your point? It's obvious Hopkins has a built in excuse if he loses and has a big time achievement beating probably the best British boxer ever to have laced the gloves IMO (Calzaghe) at 43. To me people who say now, at 43 Hopkins is the same fighter he was in his mid 30's are completely wrong. This isn't an excuse for Hopkins. It's reality. Win or lose I'm not rooting for one or the other but you have to admit Hopkins is coming in with the age disadvantage big time. He's friggin 43 for goddsakes. Watch his fights when he was in his Mid 30's and compare that to his Tarver and Wright fights...

Level of competition dude, in his mid 30's he was fighting mostly journeyman at best (I try not to use the word bum when referring to a pro boxer.) Sure he's declined some, but not to the level people are claiming.

              K. I got you. We'll agree to disagree then. He threw alot more punches back then and I just think he's declined more than some. Not alot mind you but it's significant. You have to at his age even if your name is Bernard Hopkins. But his style has changed to suit this. Before he used to press the action more, threw more punches, and agressively rough house the opposition. His last 3 to 4 years he's been a cautious fighter, defense first fighter who controls his punch output round by round. Had he been younger he would have KO'd Tarver IMO. Basically what I'm trying to say this fight would have been alot better if it was made years ago. Probably echoing alot of people here. Than I would've favored Hopkins easy. At his age now though to me I'm leaning slightly towards Joe.

If Hopkins win, it`ll help Hopkins get out of that "only fight small fighters stigma".

Hopkins padwork with JDJ and more specifically his footwork in this video just cemented my belief that Hopkins has this one unless Calzaghe gains some serious power due to moving up to 175. Hopkins movement is a thing of beauty. Always a purpose, always balanced and his punching is very crisp. He looks to be in better condition than his Tarver fight. Dudes amazing especially for 43
