calzaghe has always wanted bhop but never got him for some reason and i gta admit this has to be the 2nd best opposition in years because of the age difference if he wins then hes proven alot but roy jones jr is the best opposition hes faced imo.

IMO RJJ would of beaten Calzaghe very easily, RJJ is still very slick in the ring(tito fight) and dosn't have the speed he once had but he had but can wow you and hit u with sum pop at the end of his shots. Calzaghe is a good fighter, but B-hop will show calzaghe things he hasn't seen, Clinch punching, and even step on his lead foot, this will be a good fight and i can't wait.Comment

I'd like to see Calzaghe fight RJJ. But even if he beats Hopkins and RJJ it won't change much. The people who rate him lower than those two will say that the victories are meaningless because both are past-their-prime. Joe would prove more if he beat Pavlik IMO.Comment

Hopkins has faced one person his size that was better than Calzaghe, RJJ. As I remember he didn't do so well in that one and he's a lot older now.Comment

well on paper it might not seem as though Calzaghe is the best oponent his has faced but we all know the reallity of the situation which is that Calzaghe is the best he has faced besides Rjj and he lossed that fight so i dont see how that is relative
it was like Glen Kelly telling a rookie David Haye ive been in thier with Roy Jones ,yeah but u got the **** kicked out of ya
i dont think anyone can moan that this fight is taking place now when Hopkins is 43 cause that is Hopkins fault and he is paying the price for it
