Most of us do know the fans will be different. Hatton had the english limey football lowlife fans. In vegas I wa cringing listeing to the limies singing that cringworthy 'winter wonderland'. Calzaghe will not get this crap as he's not english.

See, I don't see that as Clinton's fault. I mean, he fought on basically even terms with Monson all fight, and even though he was stunned in the 9th, Monson gassed and was hanging on for the final two rounds. So I don't consider him a "fraud" in that he can trade on reasonable terms with Monson, and I don't consider him a "fraud" in that he wasn't the judges.

I had the fight 115-113 Monson, but to compare to Ottke is OTT IMO.


Oh, and to call it a "homer" decision is inaccurate, given that Monson was dragged over by Frank Warren as an opponent for Calzaghe on a Frank Warren showcase promotion.

The judge who gave it to Monson was from the UK. Where did the two judges who said Clinton won came from? That's right, they were Fat Yanks. "Homer" decision.

OH Swizz please.....Look at the boys from Quebec!! They are obsessed with splitting from Canada, even though they would be economically ****ed in the process!! I really thought you of all people from North America would understand the cultural differences, Wales and Scotland were separate countries with their own languages (although Scot's Gaelic is pretty much dead). Day to day they mostly get on, but the moment sport is involved, more so team sports (football, Rugby) the identity thing comes out.
