My goal is to be the biggest Pud that ever lived and get knocked out in every fight. Then, i'll get to challenge someone awesome and suprise him with a KO punch. Yeah...that's it!

There are guys out there that only had a handfull of amatuer fights and went on to do good things in the professionals but it is rare. More times than not they end up just becoming the opponent, a punching bag for $1500. James Toney and I fought out of the same amatuer club and then later the same pro stable, he might have had 10 amatuer fights that i know of. It is possible to do good but you must consider the risks of professional boxing. Its not what you might gain but more of what you might lose. Ones mental capacity is ones world. In the amatuers that world stays for the most part intact. 10-12 oz amatuer gloves hurt but dont do much damage. In the pros you will be warring with highly trained fighters with 6-8oz gloves and no head gear. You are given only one mind to live this life with, consider that before considering becoming a professional........Rockin'

Props to you, Now thats putting it into perspective in that best way possible.

to turn pro and do well.
Arent they using 10 oz gloves in the pros, cos i remember hearing complaints about heavys only using the same 10 oz weight gloves as everyone else.

It varies for each division I believe.

The same. I'm not really after a career.

I've been doing this just over a month and I hope to get to the Pros. But I'm not unrealistic. I'll take every step as it comes and train damn hard, six days a week. I'm training at Gleason's My immediate goal is to learn how to slip punches. After I get better at that I want to have my first amatuer fight. Hopefully by next year I can be in the Golden Gloves and win.
