WBC President Wants Mayweather vs. Cotto

I want Mayweather to fight Cotto, Mosley, Williams, Cintron or Margarito next.

I'm not saying the Delahoya fight will be easier then any of these fights, I'm just saying we already saw the Delahoya fight and I don't see why we need to see it again.

Anyway the Oscar fight is in September, so Mayweather should fight one of those guys in May and we will all be happy.

I could agree with that. I wouldn't even mind a stay-busy tune-up fight against a VERY decent opponent in Joshua Clottey. Mayweather I think does everything Clottey does, except a bit better so i see him winning the fight. But it'd be a tough fight for him. If it's free like the De La Hoya fight, it boosts his standing and they then can go make their money.

I actually got bad K for saying this: I want the WBC president to shut the **** up. And I want the person ALWAYS asking him questions, to lose his job.

The reason I said Clottey is because he is beltless. Which means no mandatories. Which breaks up big fights sometimes. It's also more likely to be free if it's Clottey. Nonetheless, I get your point.I wouldn't mind if fighting any of those guys you named.

This seems strange... usually the champion of a certain sanctioning body is always encouraged to fight the top contenders determined by their sanctioning body. For the most part, the WBC president would ignore the existence of the other three champions in the weight class. This actually does seem to be something good that Jose is doing.
