Paul Williams: "Cotto vs. Gomez is Tragic"

Los Angeles, CA – In the early 1960s, brutish Charles “Sonny” Liston terrorized boxing’s heavyweight division with his paralyzing stares and knockout power in both of his 14-inch fists, prompting his trainer, Johnny Tocco to label him a “killing machine.” [details]

P-dub is back in the business of talking the talk and wanting the big fights. More power to him man. 08 is going to be one hell of a year.

So this is only annoying when Arum does it for Margarito? Goosen is just hypeing the hell out of Williams, he's good but I don't think other fighters are scared of possibly losing to him by being kept on the outside of a jab for as long as possible (except maybe cintron but he is special). The fights between the top welters are going to get made, everyopne is just staying busy and the pretenders are being eliminated, his promoter is just trying to hard to talk him up when all he has to do is keep winning and things will fall in place.

He's calling everyone out. Who's going to step up?

I think he deseerved a shot at Cotto. Especially since he beat the guy that Cotto was almost ashoe in to fight if he beat Williams (Margarito). Now if Cotto were going on to fight De La Hoya or a Mosley rematch I wouldn't have a gripe. Because that's where the money is at.

Williams was available. And I so was Clottey. But I think Cotto wants to fight Margarito before Williams.

Here's a question if Judah were to somehow beat Margarito, would there be a possibility of Judah vs. Cotto 2??

A second Judah fight would be pointless, Cotto already beat him decisively, no need to do it again. There are bigger fights out there for him.

Hand flu lol. The fight will happen some day, he's just going to have to wait. Kind of like what Floyd is doing to Cotto.

If Judah beats Margarito then he desrves a shot at Cintron IMO. If he then beats Cintron a fight between himself and Floyd/Cotto/ Williams shouldnt be out of the question IMO.

                  P. Williams just needs to keep winning and he will get his shot. IMO he needs one more win to solidify his name. I'm a fan of his but I must be real. Beating Margorito did boost his name but lets not get carried away with the hype on Williams. He just needs to keep winning and he will get his when the time comes.

You also got to love his hunger. He wants it and he wont be denied

Margarito is still the most feared. Williams should give Margarito a well deserved rematch.
