I answered that same post like 3 times, I will not be redundant like you are being.

And if that's the case, I won the argument about Robinson and Jones's speed, as you didn't respond to my last post. Then again, I really do believe you're the only one on this site who thinks Robinson is even close to as fast as Jones.

You owned me in what way? I have proven my point over and over, and you came up with nonsense like the stuff I started this thread about. I chose not to respond for two reasons: 1) I have already responded to all of what you had to say in my other posts, 2) I am simply not taking someone seriously who gives me some BS about Hearns being impossible to outbox at any weight, or that a more motivated Toney beats Jones convincingly after the one sided beating he took in the first fight. Ridiculous.

You stated earlier you have your own mind, this is clearly the case, but honestly, in some situations I'd say it's better to just shut yer trap and listen to what others have to say.

Your main point was that there was no way Jones could outbox him because Hearns was never outboxed.

Hearns has never been out boxed before and the only fighters that beat him had to switch and turn rough physical fighters

You said he couldn't outbox him because Hearns didn't get outboxed. You said in another post when I asked if Hearns would outbox Ali that "if you are hard to outbox you are hard to outbox", insinuating that Hearns at any weigth was impossible to outbox. You continuously said that the only way to beat Hearns was to pressure and make him fight, which leads me to believe you find him to be impossible to outbox.

You said Jones couldn't beat him because noone could outbox Hearns bascally, and Jones wouldn't fight him, he would box him.


Is that info correct? You basically called Hearns impossible to outbox.

Another post from slicksouthpaw, to see the kind of rubbish he's spewing. He said this when I compared Jones vs Hagler to Leonard vs Hagler but much worse. Hagler fought Hearns and Leonard the same, they just responded in different ways. Jones would do the same as Leonard, but a lot more effectively, that is if Hagler tried to fight him like that. Then again that wasn't a prime Hagler anyway that fought either Hearns or Leonard.

Anyways, here's what he said to disprove my point of comparing Jones vs Hagler to Leonard vs Hagler, providing that Hagler fights the same way he did in that fight. See how much of a BS artist this guy is.

Sorry but you went over the edge there, Hagler would have made Roy fight just like he did Hearns and would knock him out as well. you are underestimating the greatness of Marvin Hagler. he DID make Hearns fight, do you think that Hearns wanted to slug with Hagler? Hagler knew that he could not out box him so he simply made him fight. and please, the Leonard/Hagler situation has nothing do with anything. Hagler and Leonard planned that neither of them would not knock each other out because they were close friends. that happened because Hagler did not know that Leonard went and got judges that were biased. please do not bring that up in a debate because it will get us nowhere and is a waste of time. that was not the real Marvin Hagler, Hagler carried Leonard because there were times in that fight were he could have turned up the heat and knocked Ray out but he didn't, why? because they were friends.

i get my information from what these fighters have shown in the past and that is the only thing that we can go by.

experienced boxing fans know that styles makes fights and you cant go by what another fighter does

He's a smoke blower, he doesn't believe in what he posts, but he'll twist and turn everything you do so he can think he's won the argument. He even admitted in our last argument after all was said and done that he lost, even though he was arguing as profusely as he is now.

In conclusion, I think it's clear that, while not a bad guy, slicksouthpaw16's knowledge of boxing is about as extensive as a midget chinaman's wang.
