Hopkins is pretty strong himself. He cut Jermain Taylor and Winky Wright on purpose.

Sakio Bika is the best fouler in the world. He sets out to lose a couple of points just to hurt his opponent lol, He's a pro!

          Hopkins is so OVERRATED.
Bika would quite easily be big enough and strong enough to hang with Borenard.
In fact Bika would possibly with the exception of a tired old Overrated Tarver be the biggest and strongest guy Borehard had ever faced.
Codrington has Power to worry most people too.
Even if he has a chin made of RJJ China.
Don't forget Bika is a Strong SMW who could probably fight at LHW.
He isn't a blown up mexican or Puerto Rican Welterweight.
Hopkins has NEVER defeated a renowned fighter outside of Middleweight who weren't even true middleweights.
His Best wins outside Midlleweight were against the Blown up Winky Wright at 170 & a tired never that good Tarver.

How ANYONE can think a man who throws 20 punches a round can beat Cazaghe must be seriously deluded and actually accept Borehards resume as that of an all time great.

I know he is american and you americans are brainwashed from Nursery to salute the flag and swear an oath but surely ....you MUST question Borehards achievements and ability.

          Then again...

He didn't take the fight as serious as he should,no. Well, more than anything I think he was trying to show off to the american audience as it was his first HBO fight (I think?) and Bika had other ideas.

thats pretty derespectful IMO. Bernard Hopkins set the record for title defenses at MW and has hall of famers on his resume. and i would pick the Tito that fought Hopkins to beat Bika. Tito had a middleweight title when they fought and was undefeated and still a pretty big threat. Bika struggled with Donnie Mcurry as well as Codrington and these are not even elite super middleweights. its messed up when you pick a journeyman like Bika to beat an all time great like Hopkins. I just cant see it. Hopkins would use ring smarts and break Bika down mentally and win by wide UD IMO. Bika is no where near the level of any Hopkins, prime or now.

HBO bought this fight on the back of his Lacy victory.

Calzaghe took this fight about as seriously as people take my "Sakio Bika P4P#1" comment. He was dropping his hands and tempting Bika in before picking him off. He also took a few good shots flush on the chin. My dad summed it up the best when he said:
"Everywhere in the world apart from America they are known as boxers, in America they are called fighters"
He boxed Lacy to pieces, then in his very next fight he had a dirty fight with a strong opponent, knowing full well people in America would be watching.

So far Mucka...Hopkins only HOF wins were against Blown up Welters who had NO real resume at Middleweight.
Please check Tito & Oscars Middleweight achievements and who they beat.
Who did they beat who were renowned?
                  Answer please!
Do you really think Oscar beat Sturm?
The FACT is Hopkins LOST to every true Middleweight he fought of real class.
                  i.e Jermain Taylor & RJJ.
Borehard was actually a LHW who boiled down to MW and fought NUMEROUS nobodies to acquire his "20" defences ...3 of which were to none other than HOF'er Robert Allen.

                  I ask you this.......
WHO on Borehards resume was REALLY World class and PRIME when he beat them?
All I see is a record where a reasonable fighter lost to World class opposition who were truly equal in size.

                  I await your answer.

I even read an article that claimed that warren was upset at cal for not taking the fight seriously.... So if calzaghe would have taken the fight seriously, would the fight be as close as some people say? Sorry i watched some parts of the fight thats why im not really sure if calzaghe struggled or what, but by watching the early rounds im pretty sure that he was showing off a bit.
Bika was a top 10 super middleweight and fighting for Calzaghe's belt. why wouldn't Calzaghe take it seriously? and just because Calzaghe didn't take it seriously does not take away from Bika muscling Calzaghe and throwing him off his game.

Glen Johnson and Trinidad was both undefeated when Hopkins stopped them both and Trinidad had a middleweight title when they fought. Hopkins was still young and green when he fought Roy and was past his prime when he fought Taylor. Prime Hopkins would have beaten Taylor and was more offensive. whats your excuse now?
