It will make the featherweight scene even more interesting.
Pac should fight Morales first because MAB-Pac is a sure thing, Barrera wont retire without fighting Pac again. Morales if beaten by Barrera, on the other hand, might not be interested in fighting Pac, instead He might move up to a higher division to avoid anymore future confrontation with the featherweights again.

Whether Morales wins or not in Morales-Barrera III, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the victory or loss, I'd rather that Manny meet Morales, first, just to settle an issue. Pacman has already proven what he can do to a Barrera. Even if they don't ever meet again, Manny can take comfort in the fact that the burden of proof is with Barrera, not his. In the case of Morales, for as long as they don't get to meet, speculations of all types and tastes will run rampant on how Morales will fare (or, would have fared) vs. Manny and vversa. The only reasons for any felt urgency re a Pacquiao-Barrera match is the latter's age and questionable health (given that he underwent brain surgery some 7 years ago and has fought about a dozen times since then; the accumlated damage...) Re: Marquez. If Pacquiao gets the better of Morales, decisively, the Marquez issue will be severely attenuated. Moreover, Marquez will, then, have to show better than what he showed with Salido to appear in the same sentence with Pacquiao.Last edited by grayfist; 09-22-2004, 12:58 AM.

Pacquiao will be left out to dry? No . . . no . . . no . . . and what do you think MABs gonna do? If MAB wins then there's much more of urgency for him to fight his tormentor. Does he want to live in the shadow of Pacquiao for the rest of his career?
That will make the featherweight and super featherweight division more exciting because MAB will somehow get back in the P4P listing . . . of course not as the featherweight king.
And What ever is the results of that MAB/MORRALES tussle . . .I THINK a PAC/Morrales fight would not be affected at all . . . because it's going to be a fight between 2 p4p fighters.

Is your name supposed to be "Big Pappi"?
I know they refer to Ortiz in Boston as Big Pappi, but they spell it wrong and spell "Big Pappy" and that dont make no damn sense when its Pappy

The obvious choice is to fight MAB. Morales would be more risk and almost no reward. And Morales would be a more dangerous fighter to PAC than MAB.
