My question would be if you like boxers who stand there and get hit without moving do you care about your fighter ?

typical Mexican Warriors: Make name for thereselves by taking Punishment to give Punishment.... and they Feel Honor in that way of boxing...

So when they fight a fighter who dont take Punishment to give Punishment...
Instead Avoid Punishment to give Punishment
This explains the reason why they tend to called them runners....

and I think it coralates down to their fans, because than their fans called them runners...

So the question is in other not to be a runner do you have to take Punishment to give Punishment....?

    But is that smart...?

Looking at the history of past fighters...., such as Ali, and Hearns, and thousands of other fighters....

taking Punishment to give Punishment is probably the dumbist thing you could do as a fighter..

Am i wrong to have that belief..?

Because they are ignorant and can't think of anything else to knock him for...
Some fools on here even call him a coward...which just shows their ******ity.

          More exciting than who?

What RJJ fights were more exciting than Hatton, gatti, Sharmba, corley, Chavez, Corrales, manfredy, Augustus, Judah, Bruseles, Genaro, etc?

Perhaps you are fairly new to boxing. But the knock on RJJ was that he would "carry" his weaker opponents because he wasn't a risk-taker.

He was subject to the very same criticisms.

That's really based on the fight though. Sometimes, you gotta be willing to take two, to get in your better one. Just the name of the game. NO risk, no reward, sometimes.

It's ALWAYS about strategy though. And sometimes, hitting and moving is the best one. Sometimes, it's not.

It revolves around schoolboy mentality , being macho and being tuff , the I am attitude is a integrated part of being male , if you are new to boxing its generally the biff more than skill that you find appealing and male attitude is if you fight with skill you are cowardly , this is such a misguided state of mind and very ignorant , most people or casual fans to any combat sport would sooner see two men chained together at the ankles , its only though time after watching hundreds and hundreds of fights and from having a go yourself do you develop an understanding of the different facets of brain over brawn or visa versa , a fight is not just biff , its very dynamic and can be as brutal as a dog fight or as delicate as a chess match and either can win at anytime , after a while you learn to appreciate all methods of fighting for the greatness within the individual based on their own merits and accomplishments , great is as great does !

                yeah you are right.

But you don;t go in there thinking that you will take 5 shots to hit him twice, well i would not i would be thinking i'll make him miss then hit him but if you HAVE to get hit then so be it

Judging by your posts, I'm assuming you haven't been here THAT long. It was like that for MONTHS.
