I think the point is the circumstance: The heavy favourite getting complacent versus the better-than-credited aggressive underdog.

It has nothing to do with the relative abilities of the fighters, and certainly nothing to do with prospective styles.

PBF does'nt have an akward style and will not be counter punched.

The egos are a definite match

and as for complacency in training, it does'nt look like theres much complacency in Floyds training.

He was in dancing with the stars for 3 weeks and after that focused more on the fight.

Even while he was in dancing with the stars he was training.

Naz just did'nt train much for the Barrera fight.

Now this is the kind of reply i wanted - someone who took the time to read the opening post properly.

Do you think that Hatton is more of a threat than DLH was to PBF undefeated streak? If so... why take a half-arsed approach to training? Dancing with Stars should have been the last thing on Floyds mind.

As for PBF not having an awkward style!? I think he does. Does he have a severely unorthadox style like the Prince - no. But awkward, yes!

The man is a frustratingly awesome counterpuncher - now that IS a similar style to Naseem.

Floyd is a real pure boxer with combinations, good jab, just all of the tools. Naz did weird things in the ring that would make you believe that he was a pure boxer but hes not. That was just Naz's athletic talent and ability. do you think Floyd would lose a boxing match against Barrera? i don't think so. he would have his way with Barrera. Junior Jones gave Barrera a clinic twice and i know Floyd boxes better than Junior Jones. Thats like saying that Roy Jones was a better pure boxer than Toney. he was not. once again, its the athletic ability and talent of Roy that would make you believe that but in reality, Toney has the much better boxing skills. Thats why i know Toney would have beaten Roy if he didn't suffer from weight drain. he had to be hooked up to IVs before the fight.
          He was being sourcastic.

Floyds not a boxer, he has a good jab a good straight right and right uppercut.

Other than that he does'nt throw that many combos and does'nt normally put combos together.

He's a one punch fighter but only does combos when his opponent is really open and weak (any good boxer would).

OMG, what the hell do you have to do on here to imply sarcasm without writing sarcasm and bolding it, italicizing it, underlining it, making it a different color, and making it as big as possible.

the best parallell is that both nutcases(floyd, hamed) last fights will be their first losses.

Your memory is awful. We have argued side-by-side for Floyd in many other threads. My signature has him as one of my favorite fighters.

NO ONE could honestly believe that Hamed had better technique than Floyd.

That's like saying Miranda/Mayorga's technique is better than Cory Spinks... absurdity.
