I respect your take, rambov. As for me, I'd rather not as yet make any. There are so many significant "if's", like the one you pointed out about Taylor's camp being able to fix the mistakes. There's also the matter of Taylor's stamina--he looked winded rather early in the last fight. And, the question of, "What style Taylor shall employ...?"

I dread the thought, though, that the rematch will have Taylor reverting to the style he used in many of his fights prior to facing Pavlik. If he does, I fear, the rematch won't be as good as shall be advertised.

Edit: Just the same, I want to see it happen...to really find out.

If Taylor stays with a firm, steady jab, uses movement from side to side, and doesn't allow himself to get wild and winded, he has a VERY good chance of winning in the return. Not saying he will or wont, I'm just saying.
I'm with you. Taylor might have a hard time coming back from such a terrible KO. But if he gets over it, he stands a 50/50 chance of winning.

******, ****** move by Taylor. The possibility of two brutal knockouts in a row for Taylor are more of a reality than ever if he takes this rematch. If that happens, ask Roy Jones if it's easy to get your career back on track. He should take a few decent fights and try to build the rematch back up, after all, people will clamor to see this rematch either now or later, it makes no difference.

But I'll tell you guys why he will indeed take this rematch, because he has looked sub-par against blown-up welterweight competition and knows this is his last real chance to make some big money. If he were to fight some tune-up opponent at this point, there is a very big possibility that he will lose and thus lose out on the big-money rematch. Taylor has been exposed and is trying to grasp every last penny before his last hurrah. It will be painful to see him unconscious again, but oh well, c'est la vie. Taylor is basically cashing out on this one and I expect him to be taken out even quicker this time.

Taylor has a great chance of winning this fight if he doesn't get knocked out. People forget once again Taylor had the HBO judges in his back pocket in the first fight. Even though he was getting out boxed for every round but two he was ahead on the judges score cards!!! This once again was another clear case as to how Taylor is precieved as one of HBO'S money makers and is protected. This would have been very controversial if the fight had went to a decision and Taylor had won. People don't discuss it because the right guy won by taking it out of the judges hands. Pavlik got whacked good in the 2nd round but won all but one other round, how could he have been losing on the score cards!!!. Even Stevie Wonder could have scored this fight better. Heck if you just looked at both of their faces after the fight and had to guess a winner it would have been Pavlik, Taylor's face looked like it was pounded with wooden mallets!!!! Frankly I'd like to see Taylor prove his worth and fight Miranda first but I quess if there was a tune up it would be against someone safe like a softer punching version of Cory Spinks!!

Jermain has a very big chance to win this. It's his fight to lose.

Rematches are always gonna be cagey when 1 guy has already been Ko'd by the other as soon as he gets in the ring that is in his mind and can hinder the best laid plans /tactics ,

Taylor would either have to go for an early KO or a 12 round war he is not gonna beat Pavlik form the outside as someone else said he was busting a gut to stay competitive in the 1st fight Boxing from the outside

Taylor defence is to leaky to stay in a long fight with a power puncher as relentless as Pavlik ,you only see the best of Taylor when he is controlling the pace of a fight he is nullified when he is backed up and has to work at a pace even little Kasim Ouma showed us that
