when i see an american fighter like maywather hopkins taylor wright roy jones etc. all they do is run and stare at there opponent. they are afraid of there opponent and that is why they are cowards. even the europe fighters like the klitschkos valuev calzage fight the same way. why is this?? do these countries not have any real pride in being real men and true warriors??? pavlik is the only american warrior and hatton is the only europen warrior.

I also can't think of any great Mexican heavyweights. John Ruiz was the first Latino heavyweight champion.

And in truth, pretty much every Mexican I have seen fight has a great chin.

If you know any corrections to the above, I would actually be interested to hear them, because I have thought about this too, and I would like to know.

Not a great chin, Rafael Marquez, Roben Olivaras, Chiquita Gonzalez.

The list goes on. You must not follow boxing out side of American fighters.
Wow... I'm wildly embarrassed having looked back on this.

                first of all...

if you are really serious about some of these statements you know absolutely NOTHING about boxing...

There is a LOT more to boxing than just knockouts...

thats like saying baseball is boring without a home run (or grand slam)...

or that football is boring unless majority of the plays are deep (30+ yard) passing plays...

or that basketball without a massive amount of 3 pointers is boring...

the simple essence of boxing is to get hit and not get hit...
fighters handle it in different ways...you have your defensive minded boxers (like floyd; winky wright; etc.) and you have your offensive minded boxers (ie. mayorga, hatton, oscar, etc. etc. etc.)...

mexicans and hispanics in general are not the only "warriors" of the sport.

Americans and Europeans are not cowards...

what about when calzaghe fought hopkins? did he fight like a coward? no...in fact he pressed hopkins almost the whole fight...

what about taylor when he fought pavlik (especially the first fight)...he went toe to toe with pavlik nearly the whole fight...he just happened to get knocked out...but he also knocked pavlik down...and he wasnt backpedaling when he did it.

what about malignaggi (someone with barely any power) standing up to a superior cotto and suffering a broken cheek bone...he boxed and moved a lot...but there were times when he stood toe to toe...and had the heart to go all 12 rounds even after suffering knockdowns and broken facial bones.

So you should seriously not talk about things you know nothing about...
