you can have all the strength in the world but if you dont use it correctly, you dont get much out of it. remember, he had to have a boxer show him how to punch correctly.

Isn't that what Ivan Drago hit in Rocky IV? If so, I guess he was just hype.

        Rampage TKO5 Drago.

I wrote this in another thread. Rampage hits about HALF of an average HW boxer.

This is a quote from another site. And I too have done some research on the measuring criteria.

it was total force, not force per area. 1800 lb from the whole fist with glove on. He has huge hands, must have been at least 5 sq inches in contact area, so 1800/5 = 360lb/in^2. Average HW' punch is 700 lb/in^2 so Ramage's punch is about half of an average HW boxer.

This boxer used a regular right straight that was 1000 pounds of force. Just imagine what a powerful heavyweight would garner. That being said Rampage knocks people out with one shot, damn that is power.

In his fight with Chuck he hit him with that exact shot square on the jaw. We all know how that turned out.

Im not an MMA hater and in fact im a huge MMA fan but if Rampage hit as hard as people think he does which he doesnt going by the criteria used, he would be knocking people out at an alarming rate.

Liddell got knocked out because he didnt see the punch coming not because the punch was powerful.

yup the TS messed up. this is 1800 lbs of force NOT 1800 psi. So basically that's 1800lbs hitting ur face. If it's 1800 psi, and his fist is say 5-6 square inches in area, then that's 90000 to 108000 lbs of force hitting ur face!!!
just kidding, that's only 9k to 10.8k lbs haha
