being known is different from having fans. all the posters here surely know mayweather but it's safe to say from all the threads i read that 50% aren't mayweather fans. that said, i dont know the answer to the thread.

Certainly not. Pacman has some fans among true American boxing fans, but not as many as mayweather. Casual fans haven't even heard of Pacman, but they have heard of Mayweather. It's not even close.
