Manny just outboxed Barrera, the puncher turned boxer.

I can see Manny doing the same against Valero but staggering him several times before he goes for the kill in the 4th.

      pac on marquez ....
"marquez is hard to fight cuz he is asking for BIG prize, bigger than me, so we dont have an agreement, but if they okey negotiations then their is no problem for the fight to be made"

      pac on valero ...
i was thinking of going to 135, but I heard that at 130 only valero could beat me (i think marco said that), so i say i will stay at 130, wait to fight valero and prove i can beat him...
      "Wow!" on the Valero statement!

If Pacquiao wins over Valero, he becomes WBA champ. Marquez and he can then unify their thrones. If that happens, Marquez's basis for asking for more than Pacquiao's purse because he's the champ and Pacquiao is only the challenger shall fly out of the window pretty quickly, shan't it? If it shall, then, an obstacle for their meeting shall be removed and it shall even be a bigger meeting because it shall be a summit! Two champs going at it!

      Thanks for the update, JOMS

i think JMM should wise up now, looked at what happened last time when his team overpriced him ...

I understand that both guys (jmm & pac) should receive their biggest payday on the REMATCH and i hope they work it out, but if they don't valero option is the BOMB (for sure someone is going down)!!

It's alright to adore a fighter, especially if you have ties to where they come from. I do the same with fighters from my hometown of Philadelphia, but to suggest that Pacquiao is already an "all time great" is insanity at it's highest level.

To be fair, I also think saying the same of Mayweather is insanity at it's higest level as well.

On a sid enote I'm very disappointed Pac's not eyeing Michael Katsidis. He's earned it more than Guzman has IMO. And I think he'd give Pac a hell of a fight, much more than Guzman anyway.

Very disappointed? Katsidis almost didnt make it out with Amonsot. Very disappointed??? You aint **** but a MP hater. With no cause. You just want to see him move up another division hoping he fails. Grow up and enjoy a great when you see one. Trust me. You'll have more fun watching him win then hoping he loses and ending up disappointed every time.

Lets not even go there with Mayweather. I have no respect for someone who's been ducking and handpicking fighters his whole career.

MP takes on the best and runs from nobody. ATG and your little input aint gonna change any of that. PAC brought boxing back to the mainstream. Who's been a more exciting fighter in the last 3 years? IF he goes to Lightweight and gets a belt there. Sealed deal.

ATG varies from one person to the other but if you ask only a certain sector of the boxing community then you will likely get a bias answer. Let history be the judge and what we can do is speculate which I think is healthy.
