    Holyfield -Ibragimov generating interest

The highly-anticipated showdown between WBO Heavyweight Champion Sultan Ibragimov and challenger Evander Holyfield has become one of the sport’s hottest tickets - not only in Russia, but here in the United States, where fans have the opportunity to witness history in the making.
It is a historic event on many levels, and people are responding to that. The number of US fans that are purchasing tickets shows the magnitude of the event. The champion is returning home to make his first title defense on his own soil, while you have Evander Holyfield attempting to make history by winning his fifth heavyweight title. This is Holyfields first fight outside of the United States.

I don't know where you get the idea that's it's a 'hot ticket' or of great interest here in the USA...cause it isn't.
Please give a link to that info...

No matter if he wins or loses...it will barely rate a mention. If he wins,he will have a phoney championship from a phoney champ. If he loses, people will just say he should retire.

Personally,if the fight is on free tv at a resonable hour I will watch...if not,I won't.

It wouldn't be making history. If Holy wins he MIGHT get into the top ten.

I don't think that many U.S. fans will make the trek to Russia; I mean who's got 4-5 grand to drop on a trip like that? However, I'm definitely(Lennox) going to order the ppv...

I read an article in a glossy finance ****zine-- issue of about a couple of months ago-- that rated Moscow as the MOST EXPENSIVE CITY TO VISIT. Tokyo, which used to be the perrenial first placer, was unseated and has tumbled down to second.

I assume you mean Holy wins by TKO in the 6th. That would be great. But, Holyfield is one of the greats, it's tough to see him in decline. And, it would hurt to see him get hurt because he couldn't get that last fight out of his system. I think he should retire.
