His chin is not granite otherwise he would be treating fighters like Baldomir and walk through all their punches. He does have a good chin though because he can definitely take a shot to the jaw.

Pavlik took a hellacious set of punches from JT and still didn't go fully down. His gloves only touched the canvas and he immediately got right back up at the count of two. His chin is granite, I believe he just got caught because he got ****y. I don't think JT catches him again if they rematch.

Taylor stuck his tongue out in round one I believe but in round two after the two power punches that stunned him he stuck his chin out on purpose and he ate like 4 more.

That's not true. Just because Baldomir likes to fight with his head out, doesn't mean Pavlik has to. Pavlik has better all around skill than Baldomir and doesn't need to stick his head out or walk through punches if he doesn't have to in order to land his own. He may be a bomber, but he doesn't need to get hit if he doesn't have to.
