I also think the ref will allow them to just fight, he will break up the clinch but the majority of the time he will let them fight.

nope, Floyd Mayweather can get a good referee.....of course if we're talking any other fighter against Hatton, they would allow it.....

I voted no in a hig profile matchup like this. And the venue (HBO PPV) and the hype that will build up in the next few months, I think the ref is going to ensure that the fight doesn't become a hugfest. And I hope they clean that **** up as well. I know Hatton is an inside fighter but, I don't want to see 12 rounds of holding. I already payed for B-Hop vs. Winky.

They shoudlve gotten Jay Nady to referee Winky vs B Hop, he wouldve disqualified Hops for being a dirty whore....

He doesn't allowing a bunch of holding which seems to be a focal point of this matchup. I really don't like him much though, I think he interferes too much, but no referee has been tough on holding and hitting like he has, so that's the only reason.

Way too tough. There is an art to infighting and holding and jockeying for space like Hatton does. Nady would eliminate that. He allows zero infighting - ZERO.

I think he would have allowed Castillo-Corrales to do their thing. That's in fighting. I think he would have been down for the Mayweather-Gatti beatdown, which was sort of in fighting. I think he just eliminates holding and hitting, which is the coward's brand of in fighting IMO.

The choice on the ref is a very important one because it
could be the key to who wins the fight here...

If Hatton isnt allowed to do his clinching which is a part of his game
then your looking at points getting docked etc...
not good for Hatton at all...

... Sort of. It would certainly eliminate Hatton's chance of winning a decision, but I thought that was an extremely limited possibility in most people's eyes anyway.

He could still go for the knockout, even if he does have points taken away.

I could see Floyd losing, but I just can't see him losing a decision.
