This is how i have top 3.

    1 Monzon
    2 Hagler
    3 Hopkins

And there isn't much difference between Hopkins and Hagler because there best wins were against boxers moving up in weightclass.

Going by the records you would have to put Greb first without a doubt. But, since I have never seen him fight I rate Greb in my mythical first spot with Monzon in my 'fighters who I've seen' first spot. Followed closely by Hagler.

I remember when I first saw Monzon fight. My dad had told me what a great fighter he was and then when I saw a tape of his fights with Valdes he looked so rangy and awkward. I thought this guy can't be as good as he was saying, he looks like he's about to get KO'ed. Of course he didn't and over the years after watching many fights of his....The guy was incredible. He had it all. Good defense, stiff jab with a great powerful right hand. He could also take a good punch. Monzon No.1

I went with Hagler...I grew up watching his fights when I was a little kid he was the first boxer I had ever heard of....being from the Boston area.

What happens if Pavlik kncoks Taylor out again, then kos Abraham? Would he be close to the aforementioned greats?

If he keeps winning...surely. But, he's got a long way to go to be talked about in historical fashion.

It was interesting to read up on these boxers. They were all pretty great in the ring…

I have to go with Hagler however because he was the best I ever seen with my own eyes.
