I think anyone who beats-up their wife/girlfriend/partner or gets arrested. Granted, athletes from other sport do the same stuff but for most people when a boxer gets arrested it seems to confirm their bias notions of the sport. I see boxing as the Beautiful Sport and it sucks when people tarnish it.

Any of these extremely boring fighters that focus way to hard at trying to be tricky and be ali. All they do is succeed at creating boring fights. This is a fact...this is bad for boxing...this prevents regular guys who don't know much about boxing from getting into it. Because like someone mentioned earlier its boring and it puts people off. Do you know how many people have said to me "boxing is just a couple guys dancing around". And I agree with them..when its a mayweather, spinks, taylor fight it is like that. They are bad for boxing. Also, someone pulled the race card...because someone had mentioned all the boxers that he felt were bad for boxing but they all happened to be black. Its not our fault that the majority of fighters that produce boring fights are black fighters who identify alot with guys like ali...and focus all their attention on being fast, defensive and tricky. I wish these guys would identify more with joe frazier than ali sometimes, even though ali was great. I think the huge paydays are bad for boxing...it produces fakes. They happen to have a talent and they get into boxing for all the wrong reasons: money money money. Ill like floyd mayweather and every other boxer I mentioned, once I see them get their heads beat in and but continue to fight and win decisively after on a combination of heart and skill.

While you were too busy standing in a queue to eat the cheese of his ****, theres some people who actually watch him running away for 12 rounds. I watched the DLH fight with a friend of mine who enjoys the odd fight but isnt a big boxing fan. Ever since that fight I have struggled to get him to watch boxing as he was put off by the fact the guy is just boring, plain and simple. Any sportsman, no matter how great they are, who causes casual fans to turn off is bad for their chosen sport.

Counterpunchers
I might have said this before on this very thread, but it bears repeating ("refreshing," if you will): Fighters - to use a rather broad term - who are so cautious, they're relunctant to take the offensive initiative for fear of leaving themselves open to counter attack. Defensive so-called "boxers" who take the concept of "manly art of self defense" to the extreme; who would deliver a punch only as a counter measure. Pair two fighters of equal philosophy and we've got ourselves a night at the ballet in the guise of a boxing match...
Dishonorable Mention:
Pernell Whitaker
Wilfred Benitez
Chris Byrd
Winky Wright
Cory Spinks
John Ruiz
Lou Bizarro
