I don't want to hear about how strong Hatton is because of his in ring antics, when we'll never know how strong either fighter is.
whats the point of debating then? you can tell how strong a fighter is by the way they out muscle and control their opponents around the ring. so when hatton just goes in a ****s his opponents and physically pounds on them and moves them, you can tell he's very physically strong. kind of like when this guy was doing that to o'neill bell.

hattons strength is obviously in his legs and his core. i mean look at jose luis castillo....he is a bull with smaller muscles too is he not?

You guys are cracking me up if you think Hatton can out lift Judah.

But for an athlete you have to assume it does. Especially a boxer. They aren't putting on muscle for show, that's for sure.

Obviously, but who said that Zab is the strongest guy around? He is very proportional, but there is no indication that he is the strongest.

Tszyu was stronger then him and mitchell, it was very evident when hurt Tszyu clinched and manhandled Zab in their fight.

Now I'm completely lost with this argument. I don't know what you guys are getting at with the "Strength" thing....but I'm getting the feeling it's referring to how well someone can clinch now.

Now you're trying to use punching power as fuel to your arguement. Mormeck never once leaned on Bell.....and Bell was whipping his ass.

Bell never once leaned on Mormeck...and was circling him landing at will. There was no display of strength involved in that fight from Bell's end other than intestinal fortitude.

I don't want to hear a damn thing about someone getting their ass kicked in the ring when it comes to a strength argument.

And I'm not sure how strong JLC is per say. Sure he's a bull....like Hatton....but that doesn't mean they're physically stronger than other guys. They are violent and like contact on the inside and that's where they derive their "strength" from, but If we were to let's say.....make a wrestling match between the likes of Judah and JLC, I'd put money on Judah.

What??? There was hardly enough clinching in the super-short fight for Tszyu to have manhandled Zab. He sent Zab down at the end of the 2nd!! Thats more to do with punching power and a shaky chin, than strength.

                    You just don't get it.

Who is stronger Run? Based on the "size of the muscles" and yadda yadda. Unless you interpreted this thread as, "who could curl 40 pound weights more times" I just can't see how you don't get it.

Bad example, considering both Cotto and Malignaggi have around the same amount of muscle mass. I'd say Cotto is stronger based on what I've seen from fights.

FYI Malignaggi is flexing his chest in that photo and Cotto is slumped.
