Hector Velasquez was trying to draw Manny into a war which ended up being his downfall though was effective to a certain degree(to how much he was able to take moreso). Larios had a chance to box Manny's ears off though was having trouble taking Manny's shots in the long run. He even had what looked like the best shot any fighter has had against Manny in recent time, in that 3rd round. Now he's facing In Jin Chi. This guy's no slouch or pushover. He lacks boxing skills or a very strong punch in favor of high volumn throwing. He just doesn't stop throwing and this could either bother Manny or what makes most sense, work for him since he'll get his chances to land his big bombs. Let's just hope Manny comes 100% conditioned for the full 12 rounds cause In Jin Chi's chin could be more legendary than Morales and the last thing Manny would want is a guy nonstop punching for 12 rounds while Manny can only bomb for 4 rounds or so and then get tired out. More than likely won't happen though.
Nah nah Bro. I definitely I'm not one of those who's saying this is a light bout.

Chi may not have a big name like MAB and Morales but I can assure you this guy will give Manny a tough competition like those two if not tougher.

Nah forget about the catch weight dude. Manny won't have problem weighing in at 126 I can assure you of that. It's just a question of if he's gonna use his head on this. A chance to be a four divisional Champ? PLus he won't lose his status as the number contender for the 130 title?

      That's a risk worth taking.
I see your point bro. I just hope Manny will make 126 comfortably without having to drain himself and lose his energy comes fight night. Training to win a fight is one thing but training to lose weight is another, if you get my drift. I don't want to see him lose at this point in his career because of the weight issue. But I could be wrong. Besides I think Bob Arum and Freddie Roach will make sure Manny's weight does not balloon beyond 150 lbs. This fight is the maiden voyage for Steve Wynn in Macau and Bobster will make sure that this one will be a smooth sailing as much as possible.

Well that's just my thinking, but if Manny would be at risk of losing because of weight then let it happen as is at 130.

I'm inclined to think that this fight will happen at 130 just because Freddie knows it is the safest bet for Manny to win. But also believe that if anybody in team Pac can give Manny a better perspective of having to win 2 or 3 belts in his remaining years as a professional prize fighter (which is 2-3 years since Manny hinted he wanted to retire with all his faculties intact), then I think Manny will listen and will fight at 126, if ever this is a possiblity. Besides I think he will receive the same amount of money whether its at 126 or 130.

BTW: I heard Arum said that he still has to talk to Manny about the In-Jin Chi fight so I guess this is not a done deal yet until both parties sign on the dotted line. There is also this rumor from the Manila daily that both fighters might chose Philippines as their training ground. That makes it more interesting.
