    Rafael Marquez wants Israel Vazquez

    well, Nacho does at least

Earlier this week Israel Vazquez, interviewed by Lee Bates on Fight News, announced his interest in fighting Rafael Marquez, a fight the Nacho would like to see for his boxer.

"A fight with Israel Vasquez is more attractive. Israel Vasquez is a tough fighter, he gained prestige, if we can beat him it makes Rafael even bigger."

(Vazquez website also says he wants Marquez....maybe it will happen next year)

Great interview. Berstein is not to be messed with. Im glad and a bit surprised he is so eager to get his fighter in the mix with Vasquez. This will be a great fight and very interesting. And that would be baddass if Nacho trains Delahoya for Mayweather ****en baddass.

This will be a good fight but Marquez is gonna knock him out.

I wouldn't doubt that. If not knock him out, Marquez has the skills to give Vasquez a great boxing lesson. But knowing how relentless Vasquez is, this is 12 rounds or war.

Great! 07 will be a lot better-- than it already seems to be with that alongside others that have been reported-- to wait for!

Quick! Let's get Xmas and New Year's Day over with!

Good if that's the case. Then we will see this fight in 2007. Finally Beristain grew some balls to accept a good challenge for Rafa.

This fight has fight of the year potential. I think Marquez stops Vazquez late in a fight that has war all over it.

You don't consider Timmy Austin (at the time) , Silence Mabuza (2) to be top opposition?
