williams is a true warrior. he had his nose broken, bleeding from cuts on his nose and cheek, and swelling under his eye.

the doc was looking at it and before they could make a decision danny walked to the centre of the ring and put his hands up ready to fight again.

audley talks far too much. he came out with so much crap after every single one of his fights on the bbc and no one listened. now people listen because he has a good victory under him.

danny has asked for the country to get behind him when he goes for a title shot. problem is audley doesnt have the personality that people like. it would be nice if he showed humility and dignity sometimes.

the itv show last night was great - especially when they showed audley the video of him getting knocked down by danny last year! ha! he was like "i should have rolled my shoulder" and then he took a verbal battering from barry.

Yea he done well but he aint class, Thats the first, Well half good fight hes had since turning Pro. Lets just wait and see what happens next. As we all know the division is in a real bad state!

The criticism he gets is down to jealousy. His left uppercut is the best punch in the heavyweight division anywhere, I've always said that, even since he was an amateur. He has the best dexterity on the inside of any tall heavyweight, ever. Like I've always said. And he has the best composure, like I've always said. On the rare occasions he opens up, he looks amazing. Trust me. And he didn't open up tonight, he didn't need to. You haven't seen the best of him..
I haven't seen anything substantial enough to make me believe that he even belongs in the top twenty heavyweights of today. One exciting performance against an out of shape opponent who took the fight on one weeks notice, is not enough to convince me or any of the other heavyweight fans on this forum that Harrison has got a chance against some of the top guys or "is the future of the heavyweight division." On paper, Audley Harrison looks great but when it comes down to "crunch time" he hasn't shown that he has what it takes.

Didn't you see what he did to Navarre? Nobody had ever treated him like that or knocked him over like that. Shawn Robinson was another useful fighter that Audley impressed against when he opened up, likewise Tomasz Bonin. Those three fights and the Danny fight, not to mention his win in one of the rounds at the Olympics over experienced, TOP-class Lezin (who beat both Klitschko's), are enough for me. Based on the quality shown that is.. and the fact that he still has so much more to show.

And in the Lezin fight, it was so close that big Aud knew he had to stop him - which he did. He opened up..

Lezin simply did not get stopped.

But big Aud opened up.. (and stopped him).

audley is a scared little boy, he won't be able to win a championship fight, guaranteed

danny just seemed too relaxed. he sat there on his stool before the fight started, looking a bit bored. plus he was there like 5 hours early, whats that about?!

audley was impressive. when danny came rushing in i sometimes felt audley looked a little gunshy but in the end he delivered perfectly.

shame he was such a **** as usual in the post fight interview.
that is why i like audley, thats his personality. not everyone is gonna be like danny williams or lennox lewis.

Audley's got all the talent in the world but saturday was the first time he showed some balls. If he can keep that (which is of course doubtful if somebody clatters him a few times) then he can compete at the highest level no doubt.

The criticism he got was warranted. Harrison wasn't performing, it's as simple as that! It was a very good performance against Danny Williams, and what a difference a year has made! However, that doesn't mean he'll reign over the heavyweight division because Williams didn't really present much of a threat.
I'm pretty certain that Harrison would beat Skelton also if that fight ever comes of, but still Williams and Skelton are hardly the basis for predictions of unifying the heavyweight division!
I'd like to see Harrison attempt to avenge his other loss against Guinn and then go upwards from there.
