      i like both fighters
but style wise i like boom boom more
      but wtf
this is way to much of a jump in class
i hope he really is ready
      cuz if hes not
theyre gonna ruin him like vargas got ruined
young bucks sometimes have trouble recoverin from early loses
and ponce might put a beatin on him
Rey stated recently that he will need another 2 fights before going for the title. So Rey agrees with you. It's a jump in class.

Bautista seems to have changed his mind.

So far so good with him, but way to early to tell. Good skills and power though. I hope he has a good chin. I saw a sparring video with him Banal and Z and he looks as quick as those flyweights.

Dominguez is 5-1 with 4 KOs. HIs only loss was in his last outing (UD6). His opponent was one, Christian Chavez, who had lost all but one of his four previous fights. He debuted in May this year. Dominguez has never fought outside of Mexico and he has not faced anyone who carried a record of more wins than losses.

Melligen is 5-0 with 4 KOs. He's a Southpaw and at 5'7 not too tall for a jr. welter. Carrying the nicname MJM Grand, he's 20 years old and debuted in April this year. Melligen had four of his five appearances on the island of Bohol in the Philippines, the home province of Rey "Boom Boom" Bautista. His only fight outside Bohol was in Cebu City, also in the Philippines, where he now resides. Three of his fights were against debuting fighters, one was against a fighter who lost all but one of this four fights and his fifth and last fight was against the more experienced Cris Alag who was 5-5-0 going in. Only Alag went the full route.

Each has three first round stoppages to his credit.

The prospect on the list that I have hopes for is the southpaw Alex John Banal. His conquest of Angky Angkota was impressive. Angkota had inflicted Donnie Nietes' first loss and had also beaten former WBA Minimumweight titlist Joma Gamboa.

Banal moves well and packs a mean wallop that stopped 8 of his opponents in his eleven outings (his pro debut was a draw). He inflicted first losses on the Thai, Carryboy Sing (11-0 going in) and the Indon southpaw, Ali Rochmand (12-0).

This 17 year old SuperFly can go places.
