    Sam Eggington vs Frankie Gavin

Cracking little fight this IMO. Gavin has never reached the heights he was expected to but is still a veteran and by far the best 21 year old Eggington will have faced so far.

Perfect step up for Sam though. Even if he loses he shouldnt get hurt and he will gain great experience either way. He has no undefeated record to protect and plenty of time to bounce back and correct mistakes.

Tough one to pick. Really want the Egg to win and think he can pull it off down the stretch. He has great timing to go with his height reach and snappy power and I can see his physicality being a nightmare for the underszed Gavin. Wouldnt be surprised to see Gavin win by decision though.

    Who have you got?

    Last wins

(**** quality, cant find a good one)

I wouldn't call Gavin a veteran. He's got to have had only a handful more fights than Eggington in the pros.

Hopefully Eggington wins this one though, he was impressive in his last fight and is a hell a lot more enjoyable to watch than Frankie.

True I guess. Gavin has been around for so long now I just think of him as a veteran lol

Frankie gavin annoys me the fat **** could easily make 140lbs and have a better chance of breaking out of the european level in that division. he should beat eggington the go back to 140 cause 147 is not for him

Ive got Frankie winning on points.Gavin will bore the place out,he'll do what he's always done and just do enough.I echo the thoughts of him going back down to 140,147 is NOT for him.

Gavins physique is non-existent.He has no muscle mass or nothing. He needs to fully dedicate himself if he's to be successful from now to the end of his career.

Eggington-He'll certainly find this much tougher than when he fought Foot. He'll have to remain focused and impose his height and reach on the smaller Gavin.

Sam's got good boxing skills and it'll be an interesting fight.I'm also intruiged to see what Gavin has left, whether he's mentally scarred from his pounding off Brook or if he's getting it out of his system.

good summary, though i got the result the other way around.

If Eggington can drag this into the trenches (which I think he can) I dont see Gavin being able to stay with him over the 12 rounds.

Definitely a chance this is a step too soon for Egg though and he could well be outboxed pretty comfortably, I hope not though!

I've got Eggington on points, reckon he's gonna make Gavin fight a pace he ain't comfortable with.

I underestimated Eggington when he fought Foot Tom,that'll be something i won't do again. He's goot a good boxing brain and also looks to have a good engine, something that i think Gavin will find hard to content with.

Hopefuly we get a great fight and one we'll be talking about weeks after....But i highly doubt it lololol.

Green k coming your way Tom when it allows me m8.
