    Anyone Give Bellew A Chance?

I'd love him to win but I can't see him winning a round, let alone a fight.

Hope I'm wrong but I just can't see him having anything to trouble Adonis (how's that for an aptly named kid?).

Bellew has every chance. I see this as a 50/50 fight. Maybe an edge to the superman because of his power. However what has he really done apart from land a perfect punch on bad chad?

Yes he looked great in his last fight but who to? Cloud was coming off a loss to a 48 year old.

As long as Bellew doesn't trade early with Stevenson, he's got every chance of winning. He must up his workrate in those middle rounds though.

Bellew is a better boxer than most people think. Bellew to take a split decision.

I honestly have never seen Stevenson.

Is he really that good? He seems to have sprung out of thin air.

Yes he is good. I thought he got lucky against Dawson catching him cold, but the way he dispatched Cloud was scary. Although Cloud is a spent force, it was a terrific performance by Stevenson. The man is lightning fast and packs power.

Bellew has absolutely no shot of winning. This might be a career ending fight for Bellew if it goes late.

He was bloody good against Cloud, wasn't he. Even if Cloud is a spent force, Stephenson showed great speed & skill in that fight.

I probably do under-rate Bellew though. I think I'm still judging him from the first fight against Ovill McKenzie.

The combination of Stevenson's hot streak of form against marquee names and Tony's not so good record immediately suggests 'no hope' but stranger things have happened in boxing and there is always the chance that Bellew is the man with the style that is all wrong for the champion......

.....you could also make a case for this being the time when Bellew finally gets in the zone when it comes to following a strategy and harnessing some of that intensity into a disciplined performance.

Tony is a fiery, tough man with a rep for being a big puncher and for my money he's at his worst when he goes to war because he burns through energy, does not pace himself and gives people free shots.

But with Stevenson being a known ****er and proper hard case, just perhaps this is the time when Tony boxes and responds to Stevenson with some intelligent aggression and something resembling a gameplan.

It's a massive ask, especially away from home, but Bellew really can box beautifully and if he can set some traps there's also the power there to unhinge Stevenson. This fight might be more interesting than we think.

He's got a chance. I don't rate Stevenson too highly.

                  Still think he'll lose though.

If he get's to the second half of the fight which is possible with his stamina he's got a shot.

I tend to agree, I'm not convinced by Stevens but I think he will win.
