Anthony Joshua pro debut next week

    No opponent as of yet?

Pretty poor, I was hoping for a sort of half recognisable name

Getting boring watching these crap Olympians fighting no one on Sky.

Joshua may be good but he should work his way up like everyone else, not fight TBA as a main event. Same goes for Campbell too.

I'm a long way convinced by Joshua. Maybe partly due to Fraudley Syndrome although Joshua seems to be going about things the right way.

best of luck to him. Hardly his fault that the judges f.ucked up at the Olympics so can't see why some are blaming him for it. Hardly the first Olympic debacle.

What happened at the Olympics happened, there's no getting around it and the Americans will be bringing it up his entire career, however I do think Joshua has potential, his performance at the world's where he battered cammarale and was hard done in the finals proves that, and he beat up that dyschko guy who was getting hyped to high heaven.

He performed better as an amateur than price or Harrison despite being way less experienced.

I do think it'll be interesting to see how he pans out, him and hughie fury is a natural rivalry

Kind of agree with Earl.....if you can get yourself to an Olympic boxing final you've got to have something special going for you and he medalled at the worlds as well so there is a run of convincing amateur form there. The controversial win over the Italian (and yes, I did he lost that fight) is just one part of the story.

And just as importantly he's setting off on the right foot as a pro by listening and learning when it comes to training and career management. Harrison thought he knew it all when it came to running his career and Joshua is doing the direct opposite (probably with Audley's errors in mind) by taking an almost old school approach and making sure he grasps the business inside out.

I am prepared to give Anthony a break. He's got genuine talent, plenty of time on his side and a solid attitude. The right time to critique him will be when he's 10 fights-in.

Actally not a bad starting fight at all!

                    Pulled this from another site...

Anthony Joshua will face unbeaten Italian Emanuele Leo (8-0) when he makes his professional debut at the The O2 on Saturday. October 5.

The 32 year old from Southern Italy has three knockouts on his slate, and will fight the Olympic super heavyweight gold medallist over six threes.

And then I look at the guys nicely padded record with three of his wins against the same guy lol
