Uchiyama's next fight?

Any word on it? Is he waiting until New Years to fight again?
I have a feeling he's going to fight Daiki Kaneko next...kid's on a nice tear.
I'd love for him to fight the Sergio Thompson/ Miura winner, but I doubt if Sergio wins he'll go to Japan and Vice Versa for Uchiyama

I think a match up between Miura or Thompson is possible. If Miura wins it would be a big unification fight for Japan. I'm not sure if Thompson would be willing to travel to Japan to fight Uchiyama but I'm sure Thompson has some buzz in Japan after stopping Linares. Maybe it's a fight that won't be made but it seems like their would be more money on the table if it took place in Japan.

I'd personally like to see Uchiyama rematch Farenas. He deserves a rematch the fight was stopped because of a butt and he's a better fighter than Vazquez or Parra.

Agreed, a decent fighter and it'd make a statement if he stopped Farenas who gave Gamboa a tough fight.

I would've liked the unification to happen first, but Miura is going to Mexico. Must've been more money or something, I don't know.

Muira certainly gave Uchiyama a lot of trouble when they fought two years ago, i'd like to see a rematch and a unification should Muira beat Thompson. Muira-Thompson should be an exciting fight, looking forward to it this weekend.

That'd be awesome... I wonder why they didn't make it in the first place.... would have been a good fight.
