Dee 'Waldo' Walsh won his 4th fight last night in Malaga, hes a 21 year-old light middleweight from Belfast and is tipped for big things.

I'd never heard of him. Just looked him up and he fought the irish journyman tommy tolan on the rogie fury undercard. Must have been before i left the pub and got into the odyssey cos i never saw it.
Tommy is pure cannon fodder so that doesnt say much. (He's fought quite a few decent fighters though) -
Seems to be on Channel 5's undercards so hopefully they'll show him if a couple of fights end early (or have they already and i didnt catch on?) He's not on Furys next undercard though.

He nearly fought in Moscow for his 2nd fight but work permit issues denied him. This Malaga bill was promoted by Sergio Martinez and he was in attendance alongside Macklin, they were both suitably impressed with Walsh.
Im hearing he is one of Brian Magees main sparring partners now too.Comment
