    Booth-Arthur - One hell of a fight!!

To say these guys had 3 weeks notice, they came in shape n put on hell of a fight for the boxing fans in britain.

I thought arthur started very well, he used his jab n kept the fight at range which suited him and not booth. first 2 rounds were pretty much shutouts tbh.
Booth then tried to find his range and get inside in the 3rd with some success. I feel that booth was a little frustrated as he was not able to get inside as much as he would of liked in the first 4/5 rounds. IMO, arthur was 4-2 up after first 6 rounds.

This is when the fight changed, booth's determination and heart helped him find a way inside of the arthur jab and arthur visibly was slowing down as the fight progressed into its later stages. The cuts that each fighter suffered early on in the fight werent really bothering them too much, heads were clashing all the time.

I scored the last 6 rounds to booth, making my score read 116-112 in favour of booth

sky will show it again at least once over the weekend.

It was a lot closer than i thought it would be, Booth found it difficult to adjust to the size disadvantage, but he dug deep and forced a brawl up close. Gotta love Booth. Arthur surprised me too, havent seen him fight as well as that before.

And to be able to do 12 rounds at that pace on 3 weeks notice - fair play to them. Who's Booth fighting for the Euro belt?

Wonder who it'll be .Casey was the champ but did he not have to vacate for the Rodriuges fight .I checked the ratings
              Champ Casey
              Chall Kiko Martinez
              1 Rendall Munroe
              2 Jason Booth
Good decent div at Euro level .

It was certaintly an intriguing bout. Arthur done well in the first half of the fight, but I knew Booth would take over in the second half. Booth dragged Arthur into his own fight. I think experience prevailed in the end.
