What i like about Steve Holdsworth is if a fighter is **** he'll say so. Not in so many words but a lot of the time he doesn't "big up" the fight being offered by the channel he broadcasts for! You can keep Jim Watt he's a pain in the arse, I'm not fond of Steve Bunce either. Richie Woodhall seems a good bloke and he knows what it's like to get the gloves on.

Yeah Steve Holdsworth... When they have LIVE boxing on, his email address is steveholdsworth@hotmail.com, and he sits there all evening chatting away and answering questions.

He's very good at getting around to answering them, (or perhaps he doesn't get many emails ).

But I've sent him a couple in the past and he's always responded to them within a couple of minutes!

Steve Holdsworth is funny, i'm suprised he's still got a job because he's always bashing the fights he's commentating on. If he can make eurosport fights interesting then he'd surely do a good job with top class fighters.

He seems like a real boxing fan, so i'm not suprised that anyone who shares his love of the sport will get a reply quickly.

You should email him and tell him to come on to these forums. That would be interesting. I'd do it but i'm far too pissed!!!

BTW, Jim Watt annoys the **** out of me, he's always bashing fighters with talent because he jealous of them. I remember when Scott Harrison was going to break his scotish record, he was pissed off that night.

If I can remember correctly, Steve Holdsworth used to be a fighter (but not a very good one)... So he became a match-maker. Now he's just a commentator.

He's a real weirdo!.... He say's things like, "Here's Toko Saki, fine strong man... A real two meat and veg sort of fighter!".

That guy is Sensei Will Vanders! And he's also a complete and utter nob in the commentary box. He comes out with bollox such as "raggamuffin stylee" to describe a fighters style, goes on about a fighters "curriculum vitae" and talks about "full fat fight acxtion". He also screams "It's a knockdooowwwwnnnn" when anybody tastes canvas. He ruins a perfectly good programme and is a total ****!

I havent read this whole thread but i understand that Holdsworth and Duke McKenzie where commentating at Carl Froch and Junior Witter fights, on saturday. Those will be the main ones i think.

lol @ the ****ty bbc boxing presenter every time i see him wat a *** ,he doesnt know anything about boxing-steve bunce and former boxer in the studio talking about a possible mexican barrera -morales fight (i think) then bbc presenter recommended the venue be brentford.what and idiot-anyone except him
