    We want a better standard of Prizefighter.

    This tournament has some potential, but still needs some fine tuning. Here's what we want:
    • Fighters with atleast 10 fights experience, or;
    • Fighters with 5-10 fights experience have to have a 100% win ratio.
    • Fighters with atleast a 50% winning ratio.
    • Only active fighters.
    • No fighters who are reaching the end of their careers.
    • TV shows in the weeks building up in the same vein as The Contender, a bit of background on the fighters.

    Give us all that and this show would be a mouth watering prospect for all British boxing fans.

      totaly agree a actualy had 20bar on the winner lastnite,but the hide fight was crazy wbc ranked 3fighter v a novice with 5 fights 2 which were losses he looked like he had done 20rounds after it amazed he made the bell ref gave him his chance lot heart in the kid took bombs,but the standard is usualy pish but why would good fighters want to fight 3rounds if you lose it counts has loss also.

        When the formula was first announced i honestly doubted any big name fighters would go for it and risk their records, but they have. The problem is they have one or two big names and then 6 gap-fillers. I wouldnt mind if it was all up and coming fighters with 7-0 records or whatever, that'd be interesting. Its the mismatches that make it so awful.

          man it was a disgrace last night, the first fight was a joke with that 6,6 giant with only 4 fights and only won one of them aswell i think and that was a year ago...... absolutely shocking, but kinda funny.

            i heard sopmething about a SBW prizefghter but wasnt paying attention, my ears just picked up Wayne McCullough and by then it was too late to hear wat the story was.

            Is he fighting in the next one? Would be great to see him back. Chin of pure Granite.

              I hate the full thing TBH, I'd rather sit and watch a 12 round bore fest than a 3 round pub fight.

                Nice money for the tomato can who came on as a sub and got to the 'final' against fatty Corbett. £16,000 for two three rounders.

                  personally i am not that interested in prizefighter and would rather watch a proper boxing match, the only thing i would say on the prizefighter tournaments is that they are being done to death
