his best chance at a decent name is fighting domesticly. ricky hatton if he comes out of retirement, kell brook if they aint training partners, amir khan after he gets KOd or possibly a rematch with judah (not domestic but still). since both alexander and bradley beat witter i think zab might fight him again and try to be more impressive than they were. he will struggle to find another big name oponent at 140.

It's an easy fight to market for Matt, as its the man his brother never met, and it is still a name that people will take notice of in spite of the age and recent record. @140 im not sure, possibly somebdy like Ortiz? im sure both sides wouldn't mind that fight.

Wouldn't mind seeing Junior Witter in action on the domestic/European stage. Think he'd need a comeback fight to get back into things at the new weight, a good opponent but no one spectacular, just to see how much he has left. Young Mutley, Michael Lomax, Kevin McIntyre, maybe even Gianluca Branco. A fight against one of these oughta show us what he has left. 40%+ and he should score a KO victory. Then stick him up against Matthew Hatton for the European title, or Denton Vassell for the Commonwealth. I doubt either fighter would be interested in the Kell Brook fight.

If he could come through two or three fights like that and win a fringe regional title, then I don't see why he couldn't have one final crack at world level. I think, depending on how much Witter has left, Andre Berto would be a great foil. I can just picture it, Lou DiBella and all those crooks laughing to themselves about how they secured an easy defence for their guy against a shot fighter in Witter with still kind of a name, and decent accolades. Personally, I think if Witter could get back 80% of his best, he has the perfect style to beat a hypejob like Andre Berto.

Two or three fights at European/fringe world level first.
