Why no love for Euro fighters?

European fighters seem to all suffer of the Sven Ottke stereotype that they're all boring, robotic, proctected fighters.
IMO europeans fighters showed to be very good fighters in amateur championships and olympics. Irish, british, german and french fighters always have medalists.

Even in pros, you have a lot of very good euro fighters like Adamek, Haye or Hatton. European level in boxing is very high, if you're a european champ, you are an excellent fighter.

Why do people disrespect european fighters?

Because they are all over protected, over hyped bums who have just been or will be "exposed"

Even the ones that no-one hypes up. Doesnt matter. Thats a minor detail.

If they arent on tv in america, then practically no-one over there knows what they are like so are automatically a bum. It how it works hon NSB. And if they win a world belt, and beat a yank in the process its never a good yank, its a past prime, overrated, weight drained green fighter, who only got the win due to a hometown ref, judges and luck.

Sven Ottke and Joe Calzaghe contributed to that. But trust me, Amir Khan will put Europe back on the map with his talent and excitingness

Exactly. There's a ridiculous amount of pro-American bias. "Lead Cenobite" (aka the banned "bsrizpac") is a perfect example.

It doesn't help that American commentators/analysts like Max Kellerman and Al Bernstein, and writers like Eric Raskin and Michael Rosenthal are generally so unfairly negative about European boxers.

You talk about European fighters, then mention British fighters.
