ITV to show Haye vs Ruiz

I heard that ITV are thinking about picking up Haye vs Ruiz, that would be cool to have it on prime time free view, ITV's fights on ITV4 have been of a very poor standard so it would be nice to some some top flight boxing back on the mainstream channels.

If this is true, that would be awesome.

I'm sure ITV said they couldn't compete with other markets.

Good news if true, I'm planning on going to this one, need to wait on a date and venue first before making further plans.

It'd be a good move for Haye commercially.

I hope this is true, they haven't shown a big fight live since Froch Pascal I think.

That would be surprising considering Haye's last fight is reported to have done one million PPV buys in the UK.

yeah but all do respect i don't think many are too keen on the Ruiz match up

at least against Valuev they had a gimmick like the whole David v Goliath thing to help sell it and the significance of the weight disadvantage

i think it would be hard to sell the fight against Ruiz just because if you know anything about boxing you know that Ruiz will try and drag it out for 12 rounds of uneventful action

let's hope Haye takes him apart in spectacular fashion

I'll believe it when I see it, but if it's true that's great news.
