How well can Opetaia do at Heavyweight?

Yes he has his flaws and people may use that as a reason for dismissing his chances at Heavyweight, but he’s more suited to the move to Heavyweight than Michael Moorer was IMO, because he’s lighter on his feet, he’s also probably bigger.
How do you rate his chances at Heavyweight assuming he moves up whilst he’s still in his prime?

It depends on where Oleksandr Usyk will be then.
I have to query Jai Opetaia's size first - He says that he makes the 200 lb limit easily & doesn't look like he fights much over 210 lbs?

Jai Opetaia has shown tremendous potential in the cruiserweight division, and his skills could translate well to the heavyweight class. His agility, power, and technical prowess make him a formidable contender. However, the heavyweight division presents unique challenges, including facing larger and more powerful opponents.

Opetaia's success at heavyweight will depend on how well he can adapt to these challenges and maintain his performance against top-tier fighters. If he continues to train and develop his skills, he has the potential to become a significant force in the heavyweight division.

What are your thoughts on his chances?

Not good. His resume is thin at Cruiser. At heavyweight his power will be grade B. He fight where he does for a reason and does not fight the best there either.

His next fight is obviously a 'keep busy' in anticipation of risking a Unification bout next. Otherwise, Opetaia apparently fights the best available fighters as often as being avoided

Yes, but the division isn't very good and he has but one much older quality name on his resume. That is. He should stay at cruiser as he wont be any abcdefg or wbo champ at heavyweight.

No where should anyone say that he is ducking people in his C- divsion.

Recently, Opetaia has mentioned a possible move to Bridgerweight after Unifying Cruiserweight. That's a weaker division still, but he was only speculating

I think he is too small for hw. Briedis cracked his jaw pretty well, didn`t he? Heavyweights punch much harder.

Opetaias dream money fight is Beterbiev or Bivol, if they are willing to move up for 1 fight.
