Fury and Chisora are friends. Usyk is not available this year, Fury gave Joshua plenty of time to sign the contract, but Eddie "the keeper of the B-samples" Hearn didn't want the fight, so, Fury's options for a December date are a bit limited. I'd love to see Fury fight Usyk and Joyce next year, and Joshua fight Wilder. Nash out

He has, but he has said for years he will fight Chisora again, so taking that onboard, no better time than after Chisora's best "official" career win over Pulev, thought Chisora beat Whyte 1 and Parker 1, imo, which would both have been better wins. I don't like the fight at all though. Hearn blocked Joshua's path to Fury, don't think Warren sees it as quite right time for Joyce vs Fury yet, better late next year, and don't see too many guys throwing their hat into the ring publicly for the date, except for Charr, which is even worse. It's a bad fight, Ivich, but Chisora's record is misleading. He beat Parker 1, Whyte 1, and Helenius, all without a doubt, so had real 9 losses, 8 of those at a very high level, one at at least a good level against an unbeaten guy. Chisora's resume of opponents is outstanding. Never shirks from a fight and with the exception of Fury 2, in all 8 of his losses (including Vitali who he gave a torrid R12 too, he caused problems. There are guys with 25-2 records and such, who Chisora would wipe the floor with, so the numbers don't tell it all.

Of his 9 legit losses, these are the fighters - Fury x2, Usyk, Vitali, Haye, Pulev 1 (also beat him) Whyte 2 (Should have won fight 1) Parker 2 (should have won fight 1) Kabayel (unbeaten, but a rare off performance from Chisora.

Fury vs Chisora 3 is not a fight that should be happening, but listing Chisora's record without context, is a disservice to the man. Nash out
