Fury has said for years that he will give Chisora a 3rd fight and pay day before retiring, so, when you look at it like that, now is maybe the perfect time. Joshua fell through, that was on Hearn and co, Wilder 4 is not needed, well, unless Wilder pulls off some major wins for a few years, Usyk will be next, Joyce, maybe ideal after Usyk. Dubois, it's too soon, Ruiz fighting Wilder next, most likely.

Hrgovic looked like crap vs Zhang, the Cuban Flash, Sanchez would be much better but the fight does not sell right now as he has been terribly promoted. Hunter has just had a poor draw, Wallin rematch doesn't make much sense as no further credit since Wallin has not had a major fight since, though, through no fault of his own, Ortiz is 200 and coming off a loss, Dubois is at least 2 good wins away, and Fres Oquendo is still too green as well. He's not wanting to rush his world title shot.

The fight should not be PPV though. Far from it, but in the sense that the quality of fight, but it will sell quite well, I'm certain. Chisora will pull out his usual tricks on the week of the fight to get those late buys. He and Fury are probably plotting the wrestling style storyline as of now. Nash out

yes but i see things differently. see if wilder bombs out the handy mexican he could demand a fourth fight. if the mexican runs rings around wilder he'll have a good claim on fury. if usek loses to wilder or vice versa it all spells big exciting fights. if i had a message for fury it would be to keep happy and let whatever outcomes just happen. i personally dont think anyone is close to fury. like my brother said if a club chess player played a grand master he will lose 100 out of 100. fury is simply too clever. i noticed that there is a segment in the media and sport who dont like him and point out his contraditions. so what he changes his mind, for christs sake who doesnt.
i hope he keeps happy and not let haters get him down.
ah ha big john fury is up to his antics again we love big john. tyson gave his dad the best life he always dreamed of an he is loving it. i am glad as big john fury had a tough life. its all good fun.
otto wallin is also a great boxer. there are a great crop. anyone who says there are bums just today i tell you in elite level sport these guys cant just come off the street like in the old days and come off coke a week before the fight or like leon spinks only have 7 pro fights before fighting ali. The standard is another world now. these boxers deserve all our respect as they are true warriors and supreme athletes.

Fury often says he isnt interested in legacy but imagine if he went on fighting like big george and winning. Big george foreman showed that he could still win as an older fighter. Sly stallone said a day ago that he thinks fury is best ever.

From what ive read recently i think Fury is too young to retire. He feels too youthful to quit and retire. He looks after himself so thats understanding.
one day he will feel the beast is out but that may be in many years time.

For Chisora, also low risk, high reward. He's gonna cream it in because more or less everyone loves him, and no-one's expecting him to win.

Btw, I'll still be watching this, like I watch most Fury fights and every Chisora fight. Just won't pay for it is all.
              - - Blubber been shot ever since he traded dented noggins' wif Deyonce.

Chisora 2-3 fights past when he shoulda retired. One Big Haymaker may put Blubber in the rendering yard for repurposing.

as a fury fan i always remain positive about his life so i always try and see the most positive angle to his choices. i hope he feels okay. i know boxing is dangerous but theres no reason he couldn't fight till his 40's. i always try and find the most upbeat reactions as a fan it is important to be loyal.

Not really interested, but I will watch it. Fury is the biggest boxing star.

I don't like the fight at all though. Hearn blocked Joshua's path to Fury, don't think Warren sees it as quite right time for Joyce vs Fury yet, better late next year, and don't see too many guys throwing their hat into the ring publicly for the date, except for Charr, which is even worse. - - U a monkey's uncle not see how both Deyonce and Blubber ducked the riches of AJ to fight each other for peanuts as the rest of the contenders looked to the low hanging fruit of the WBC.

Fat Andy the only fighter willing to step up for AJ's American debut after Big Baby filled his diapers with non kosher pharmaceuticals that suspended him from boxing.

Fat Andy the only MAN among the mice populating the rankings then. Fat Andy, Fat Andy, Fat Andy the last MAN standing then, not the Fainting Gypsy...

Sure. It's a World Heavyweight Title fight. It's nice to see Tyson Fury committed to fighting a couple times a year. Fury has been in the gym since the Whyte fight. No point in just working out. Put that work to use in an actual defense.

Usyk fought Chisora ONE opponent ago and had a tough fight over 12 rounds. I don't think Chisora is any worse than Dillian Whyte.

Usyk didn't want the fight with Fury right now. Joshua didn't want the fight with Fury (or anyone) right now. It looks like the winner of Wilder-Ruiz will be next for Fury. So if Fury fights again in three or four months, that's great. He'll be that much sharper.

Hell, maybe Fury will fight three times next year. It's not like Usyk is active. Since Usyk defeated Joshua in their first fight, Fury will have fought three times (Wilder 3, Whyte and Chisora 3) and Usyk only once. We're lucky at least one of the heavyweight champs wants to stay busy.

It's boxing. I'm not going to complain when a champion still wants to defend his title even if the top challengers don't want to fight him at the moment.

I'll be watching. It's on ESPN. I look forward to it.
